Kamil Dzwonkowski IE673 - Fall 2008 - In class section September 29th 2008 eLearning ID # - Fall 2008-70-38 The company that I have decided to develop is a model of corporation dedicated to build eco-friendly packages and provide shipping services to the requested locations. This virtual company will be called Pack-It Solutions, and will be located in Newark, NJ. The headquarters location will be in Linden, NJ. This company will be focused on GREEN eco-friendly strategies, based on Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Our services will be dedicated mainly to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. We will provide a state of art packaging solutions to any hazardous substances. Furthermore, we will service nationwide and international express shipping and delivery for those products. This company will operate in a plant/division facility located in the city of Newark, in a close distance to the sea port and EWR International Airport. This facility will be equipped in NOAX Technologies industrial PCs. While cooperating with this company, our electric delivery tracks, as well as plant forklifts and electrical wagons will be operated in sequence on this platform. The second company that we are cooperating with is the Rockwell Automation. We are implementing their Life Science Industry Solutions across the plant and the head office. We are inquiring a number of services from them like:
• Integrated control and information architecture • Production optimization • Electronic batch recording (EBR) • Process analytical technologies (PAT) services and solutions • Validation services • Radio frequency identification (RFID)-enabled solutions • Original equipment manufacturers (OEM)-ready solutions
Rockwell Automation is a leader is finding different approaches and consequently concluding the most sufficient one. Pack-It Solutions has decided to cooperate with Rockwell Automations since its one of the leading corporations that uses Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma strategies. The most important feature that Rockwell brought to us is the Electronic batch recording that enables our Noax Technologies Industrial PCs to keep constant truck of the packages through out the warehouse and while in shipment. Integrated control and information architecture solutions from Rackwell had resulted lowering the cost of man labor and production wastes. The third company that we will be working with is the BioPharma Solutions. We are going to use their Baxter highly sophisticated temperature control for proper temperature, pressure and moisture setting requirements. The specially designed environment for the chemical and pharmaceutical products will insure proper conditions to keep it healthy and stain free. Finally, our fourth partner is the GE Healthcare solutions know by the name of ReadyToProcess and Wave. General Electric has integrated our packaging/valediction process in a very quince way. It was developed for seamless operations, and it consists of a series of stainless equipment to design, validate, cut cardboard, fill bottles, and melt Styrofoam. The system is intergraded with the disposables and waste equipment. The biopharmaceutical mixers, tube welders and sealers allow users to configure facilities using disposables exclusively. Pack-it Solutions is dedicated to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer. While keeping focused on Total Quality Management we are consistently providing products that meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements. By lowering the costs, however staying at very high quality strictly obeying the ISO 9001:2000 standards, we provide a GREEN service to our costumers. |
